Found 2 lost iPhones in river, knives and a lost wallet with $105. Also found an old toy truck from the 1930’s underwater along with an LP Record from the late 70’s while treasure hunting here in Bend, OR. 🚚💦😲
The good news is that we were able to track down the owner of the missing wallet and return his $105, credit cards and driver’s license.
You never know what you’re going to find on your next treasure hunt, especially when you go scuba diving and hunting for river treasure here in Central Oregon.
On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, our team set out to scuba dive the Deschutes River here in Central Oregon in hopes of finding a goldmine of river treasure.
The Deschutes River running through the Old Mill District certainly didn’t disappoint us on this treasure hunting adventure pulling out lost iPhone(s), missing wallets, knives, golf balls, sunglasses, a record from the late 70’s, an old radio, a kayak paddle, bottles, cans, and other river treasures.

Have personally pulled 880+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers so far this year. … 〽️
At the end of the day, even if we had not found any cool items or treasures in the river, we still feel good about all of the garbage we removed from the river in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. 🐟
