Kissimmee, Florida police chief says Madeline’s mother is being interviewed as part of the ongoing investigation.
Last month, The Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced that the boyfriend of Madeline’s mother had been arrested amid the investigation into the disappearance of the 13-year-old.

The police really don’t know what’s going on except for the sexual abuse, this case reminds me of Casey Anthony, they are grasping at straws, they don’t have the murder in lock down. It’s going to be awhile let’s all pray Madeline receive justice.

I think the mother k*lled her and he helped her get rid of the body and that's why no charges have been brought towards sterns yet. That's why she was so terrified and seeking comfort from him during the interviews. Maddi was probably feeling big as she turned 13 as most teenagers do and she threatened to expose her mom and Stern and the mom or both choked her. There is ZERO way she didn't know her daughter was being r**ed over and over again. That she never looked at his phone as a new relationship and didn't see any inappropriate pictures of her daughter either. I won't ever believe that. I really hope they don't let one monster go in exchange for the other like they did in Harmony Montgomerys case.
🙏🏼 So many people commenting in a way that they are entitled for an answer, are bashing that there is no real new information being given in this press conference or are bashing police in other various ways.
From what I understand if there is a trial the defendants can choose to have a
"speedy trial".
And in that case, if the court officials & police do not get it RIGHT, then the whole case could fall through & the guilty could walk free. & From what I have gathered with a possibility of a speedy trial occurring, the court system only gets one good chance to get it right.
I can also think of other cases where For example casey anthony's case & many others,..
So people COME ON, you gotta realize the police are learning from PRIOR mistakes and they're TRYING TO GET IT RIGHT this time.

I am so heartbroken for this baby girl. I believe that the mom knew so much more than shes letting on. I wish that someone had stepped in when this girl was very young and got her out of that sick situation.
