Cambridge, Ohio — On Sunday, a 20-year-old female driving on Interstate 77 called into the Washington County Sheriff’s Office saying her vehicle wouldn’t slow down or stop due to a mechanical malfunction. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office connected her to the Cambridge Post where a dispatcher kept the female calm and gave suggestions on how to stop her vehicle. Troopers then positioned themselves to warn traffic. After being given instructions to slowly apply her emergency brake, the vehicle slowed to a stop in the median. With the suggestions from dispatchers, actions from troopers and the female’s focus, the situation ended with no injuries or damage.

How to get out of a speeding ticket call 911 and say your car is running away. They will have it towed to wherever you want it to go. It's cheaper than a huge ticket or even jail time. Lol

im no car expert but if your accelerator is stuck im pretty sure most if not all cars you can just switch your car into neutral while the car is moving. there's probably at least 5 ways to stop your car if the accelerator is stuck
If you don't know how to stop the car in this situation, you shouldn't have a license in my opinion.

Yaknow, some things they won't teach you in driver school.. This is the reason no. 1 i talk about this on to my class.. Runaway diesel is really a thing you doo not wanna happen.. And one thing is a runaway auto-transmittion and 2nd the manual, the 2nd is easier to stop btw..
