  1. Trump is trying to sell NATO the American F35, an extremely expensive new fighter jet. The F35 is a poorly conceived and executed fighter. It is essentially worthless for defense against Russia or any sophisticated adversary, so the only reason for any USA ally to buy it is to help prop up the American defense industry.

  2. When Trump sells weapons it' not American weapons companies, it's israeli.witch country has the most companies listed on the NASDAQ( tech companies produce high tech weapons and spy software)Israel.zionist warmongers

  3. Military spending has nothing to do with security; it's all about making the top wealthiest .01% and Trump even wealthier. "It's All About the Benjamin's Baby." It's the only way to keep the U.S. economy afloat.

  4. To up their commitment…. actually means…buy more of my helicopters tanks and jet fighters and make me profitable. It's like Walmart coming to your home and telling you to invest more in food security for next month….lol

  5. @ 2% NATO spending is 13 times what Russia spends and now he wants 4% spending. What Putin told Macron. You don’t need to keep spending we will protect you.. lol . Now to figure out what NATO will be buying from us and invest in those stocks

  6. If I was king, WE would close all 1,000+ non US soil military bases and ops in 135+ countries, WE would end the nuclear weapons program and WE would further reduce and cap our military spending budget at no more than the next 3 countries combined and WE would end world hunger with but a portion of the savings! #getALLmoneyOut #GreedRules

  7. The U.S., is just trying to promote, war, because it's a war, and fossil fuel, economy. Instead of being a fore runner, in renewable , clean, energy, to help clean up the planet. Primitive….. just like trump.

  8. Why do we need moore guns ?? Well the coming war with Iran need fuelled up and when we reach the full ww3 the money will be useless so spend now as we cant bring cash to heaven …

  9. Most of the US military spending goes on adventures, not on EU or allied defense. This spending maintains the US spear of influence and its also an investment. For all the bombs dropped by them they expect some return may it be economic control or access to resources etc. The EU is not such empire and therefore it would be totally useless for us to spend a dime more on military.

I hope Trump doesn't think we in Europe should also go and wage wars in Africa and exploit the poor. Absurd.

  10. Increased NATO spending means more F35, tank, apc, and Javelin missile sales. Add more shale gas revenues and then whalla, we will have %4GDP growth. And that's enough for Trump to win in 2020. Grow up, that;s life. The left has zero moral superiority and no authority to say what the correct path is. We would be in total quagmire by now, if Hillary had won.

  11. This President is like a child in the closet playing with matches. All the time going around saying the house is on fire. Then when the fire starts and he runs out of the house, living the family inside, yelling it was the matches, it was not me. Trump is this kind of man. People prepare, the American Century is coming to an end. Men like Trump will shout and scream, but will never roll up his sleeves or pick up a gun and fight.

  12. Trump/US wants NATO to spend more money and they will expect most of that to be spent on US equipment; so its all about pushing NATO allies to increase feeding the US military-industrial-complex.

  13. I think Trump's strategy is to abolish more overseas bases (such as ones in Europe) and reduce personnel cost (by discharge soldiers stationed overseas) and spend the money on defence equipment to benefit military industry complex. There is limited upside on US defence budget so I think cutting expenses on personnel and overseas bases and encourage other NATO countries to spend more (hopefully on US weapons) are all efforts to benefit US defence industry, which contributed generously to Trump election campaign. Of course start a costly war would not hurt either.

  14. Actually, especially with the benefit of hindsight, it is obvious what is really happening.
Particularly following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and the end of The Cold War.
The whole world is fulfilling a dream that has persisted for thousands of years.
That dream is the worst nightmare of USA's Military Industrial Complex, and its cohorts.
The world is (relatively) at peace !
The solution for the Military Industrial Complex ? Re-invent the Cold War !
