It’s easier to incarcerate somebody then it is to treat them for mental illness or drug treatment programs because the governments got their hand in the cookie jar

The approach here sounds top down. In other words it works catching those who are and have been in the archaic system of justice to help after the fact. However to get to the root of how and where it all starts is in police accountability and in the courts. And mental health is a diversion trap just like probation. These forums are huge problems.

Probably not. Since a majority Prisons/Torture Chambers are privately owned. These people profit the most when more & more people are incarcerated. Companies like Geo Group, CCA, & Core Civic get paid Millions by politicians to treat prisoners like trash. So to them there's no profit in treating Prisoners humanly. In fact a lot of government & Taxpayer Funding those prisons get go right into the pockets of the owners, for their own personal use.
What an especially bad time to be in prison one of the inmates I know they can watch TV I wonder if they're getting a drift and what's going on with all the Panic buying covid-19 Mania which in my opinion well it's just going to get worse it's going to spread
