I was born and lived most of my life in NYC, including during the frenzy to lynch the Central Park 5. I remember well the ad you took out in the NYT spewing your ignorant hate. As they say, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks" – you are still the same crass, nasty, ignorant bigot.
It is years since it became clear that the forensic evidence did not support the official story, and that the cops and prosecutor framed these scapegoats. They, and you, chose to leave a dangerous psycho free to prey on others – which he did – in order to pretend to have solved the case.
Even now, instead of calling for those who carried out a deliberate miscarriage of justice to be held to account, or for reform of the plea bargain system which leads to so many false admissions of guilt (while corporate crooks rarely have to admit their obvious criminality), you have chosen to double down on the law-and-order tough guy stereotype to pander to your base.
