  1. The winters have become increasingly cold, 3 years ago Northern parts of N America and Canada had the highest snow fall ever and there was snow even in Texas. Climate change is a delusion they couldn't sustain being proven wrong so often.

  2. It's totally inhumane foe people..but what can people do..im not sure as long as people can bribe the way to power these unfit for service media political hacks will win office and continue to torture the world by their intended or unintended chaos

  3. idiotic fear mongering. John Jay is NOT an intellectual. He is a left-wing ideologue who rides on the surface and pretends that he has deep analysis.

  4. A black market business that the US will have no part in will slowly evolve to get around the silly sanctions and bullying and they will wakeup one day to learn that the rest of the world has turned there back on them.

  5. These soulless psychopaths are not even human beings in my book. Shouldn't rule? All we have to do is wake up and REFUSE to play their games with their rules and their monopoly cash. Just quit going to work, quit paying any bills, taxes or buying anything for a month. Stay home, talk with your family again, build that duck blind, write that short story, fix up your home. I know, I know. People won't do it but I don't see why not?

  6. You are right about this story. But I’m very sceptical about the claim that AI could help make a planned economy. That you cite Amazon as an example, following Marxist logic, makes me very worried though. This might result in a well planned society but it is almost inevitably dystopian and unfree. And it’s because of the need of an enormously fine structured and hierarchical organisation that would be required. The old Marxist idea to have capitalism lead to more and more centralised and efficient organisation, and in the end we just have to chop off the head of it – that idea is so dead and so 19th century. It’s biggest problem is the assumption of determinism and some kind of mechanical laws that might govern societies and would allow prediction of what happens next. It’s what Amazon and all the big data billionaires are trying with some success. But that success is mainly a self fulfilling program: the minute assessment of markets, social movements, measuring culture essentially, becomes more and more normative, and in China we see already the rise of dystopia by their so-called social credit score which is based on mass surveillance and detailed monitoring of behaviour, starting with consume behaviour and increasingly of every human behaviour. The attempts to make a better society by AI and big data so far have mainly resulted in sucking life out of humanity to enrich a few, in spite of possibly the greatest intentions that they claim to have or may even really have. What we really need is peer to peer economy, along with some planned sectors under more or less local control. But the emphasis is on local cooperation and direct democracy. We have weed out many of these old Marxist ideas, they have been sufficiently discredited by all the suffering that was created in part based on Marxist ideas, paired with totalitarian orthodoxy of course. (Not all Marx and Engels’s fault, but that’s where the dog is buried).

  7. I love your show. But, Paul, please shave that ragged beard. Makes you look unhealthy and it’s a distraction. Or, grow a real beard! None of this half ass oh-my-shaver-is-broken solution. Just my 2 cents of fashion advice 🙂

  8. I've liked Real News, until it gets on the global warming hoax. Try doing some real news research instead of parroting the memes of the govmt. For someone who doesn't trust any agency of the federal government, why do you accept the phony NASA propaganda?

  9. Like Ron Paul said, we've never had true capitalism. If we did we never would not have bailed out the banks, We have been taught communism under agenda 21, and told it's democracy. and climate change is happening throughout the solar system, it's all about soaking the people with more taxes, or they would stop their destruction of the planet. I love Trump too. Who else had the guts to tell the pope to get rid of the pedo's in the church? He's actually draining the swamp.
Walmart is procurement agent for the government, You need to reconnect with the real truth.

  10. Our so called elites are degenerate, inbred, and stupid. They seem noticeably dumber to me, than the previous generation of arrogant overlords. I think they don't understand how much danger they are in, or what utter uselessness they are engaged in in the long run. If they have all the money, what is it WORTH?

  11. The Banksters are the cornerstone of this economy. Their number games have built the inequitous world we see. Lord Acton who gave us the "power corrupts" quote also said "the issue which has swept down through the centuries is the people versus the banks, it will have to be fought sooner or later".

  12. I agree with the left's initiative on the reality of global warming. The BAU crowd are cutting off a healthy future for the next generations, by denying climate science's warnings about the 2C fence by 2050, inciting the tipping points and irreversible climate effects. We could be at 4C or more, above the pre-industrial temperature level by 2100. And it is criminal, as Trump's "hoax" comments are only the most vulgar expression of what many on the right think.

But I also disagree with the shallow analysis of the left's responses to climate change. They want to conflate this issue with social and economic revolution, and they seek only ideological solutions which are close to their own local attitudes towards community and the dismantling of corporatism. That will not happen, as 50% of American workers now work for companies of 2,500 or more. Further, along with the right's anti-science mythology, is the left's anti-GMO, anti-nuclear religion, which is not only scientifically unfounded, it's has become a barrier to addressing the very problems they, and the rest of society, will eventually seriously seek to confront.

Here on the key energy issue are the hard numbers of clean energy, based upon concrete energy reality. It seems that the preachy left can't deal with the realities of climate change, any better than the right. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2KNqluP8M0&t=490s

  13. I AGREE 100% WITH YOUR EVALUATION OF OUR BEING LED BY THE BILLIONAIRE CLASS OF THIS COUNTRY. THE SAD STATE IS THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED BY CORRUPTION, CHEATING AND LYING TO GET TO THESE POSITIONS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SHARING YOUR THOUGHTS WITH US. LETS HOPE THIS MATTER WILL BE SOLVED SOON. TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH THIS MATTER AS IT UNFOLDS IN FRONT OF MY EYES AND I NOT BEING ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT IS DESTROYING ME INSIDE.

  14. But the general population are not prepared for the sacrifice it will take to balance the corporate power working against our well being, we are our worst enemy, guess when we start to starve , we might take action, but it will be to late,

  15. Every group claims that they have the answer and want to replace the current leadership of any nation. However when they get into power we see their true nature. Look at South Africa when leaders who profess to have the interest of the working class have now behaved just like the oppressing class. Generally we see this is all forms of socioeconomic system- capitalism socialism communism or anything in between. Listen to me, mankind can never produce a system that is equitable because man has a sin nature in which greed, selfishness etc eventually rise to the surface regardless if they come from the working class or ruling class. You all better try an accommodation between ruling and working class. Unless man’s heart changes he can NEVER develop a true system. Only when Jesus Christ returns to rule the earth for 1,000 years will mankind understand what true rulership is like. The temporary solution for mankind is an accommodation between the rich and working class or detente. All the negative ills of each group must be recognized and restrained with agreement on both sides. That’s my opinion because I know the fallen nature of mankind.

  16. Thank you so much for this episode. More truth presented , more space for us to act and react appropo towards a better world for life on our planet

  17. I realized at a very young age that greed was a major problem with human society. Im much older now but my view on this has not changed, rather, it's been enforced.

  18. As you were talking. I couldn't help but think about Jeff Bezos and his space program. It reminded me of the movie "Elysium". In the end the 1% build a Space station and leave the Earth to the rest of us to fight among ourselves.

  19. I never hear about ‘ Standard of living’ or ‘ Cost of Living ‘ anymore on any news channel. Oh wait , it’s not sexy or entertaining.

  20. Thanks again Jay, you are doing REAL work here.. We The People are losing our country.. hey can you please talk about the situation Nancy McLean talks about in Democracy In Chains – that they have 28 of the 34 necessary delegates on board to call a constitutional convention for the first time since our formation as a country? The Kochs et al are trying to destroy all democracy now, I'd guess KS manipulated the vote too.

  21. of course the elite are unfit to rule. if the they were fit to rule they wouldn't need bribery, propaganda and graft to stay in power. but there's a couple of issues mr. jay didn't mention one of which is the police state. we don't want A. I. we don't want a class of robots or machines to enforce the elitist the elitist will. oh wait, we already have that. THE POLICE STATE IS HERE and thanks to the technocrats, the elite's greatest ally, its becoming more sophisticated every day! militarized police and mechanized military and the surveillance society are already in effect. and the complete computerized social dependence, the cashless economy and the bodily inserted RFID chip are almost set to be unleashed and FORCED on us all. climate change and the police state are THE 2 biggest threats to humanity right now and there's only one way to stop them both. REFORM ISN'T the answer. we must look at ourselves; at our own contributions to making this corrupt system function. no political savior will swoop down and save us. WE MUST SAVE OURSELVES! so – let's do it goddamn it!

  22. Very dishonest on the climate change . 97% of scientists do not claim that climate change is man made . The vast majority of these scientists who are supposed to have been asked, are nor climatologists and know nothing on the subject.. Climate change may be man made but it may not .

  23. Sorry, as brillant as Buckminster Fuller was , he left out reciprocisity and the eqaulity of all species. We can never dominate the the living sustenance of all life. The Real news takes a look at this while in the structures of western civilization . They are of the real honesty of trying to find a humane way of dealing with the crisis and giving exposture to solutions and discussions of real social justice and environmental sustainability.
