Apartheid has been an intrinsic part of Zionism since the 19th century, see books by Herzl. Already in 1917, Sir Edwin Montagu who was Jewish and a member of the British government heavily criticized Zionism. He wrote a scathing memoir against the Balfour letter and predicted what would come to pass if the British carried it out.
Much later after the 1967 war, the then Israeli Labour government came up with the Allon Plan which was to annex nearly half of the West Bank from Jerusalem to the Jordan River and leave the isolated remainder as ghettos for the Palestinians. That wasn't implemented until far right wing Likud came to power in the late seventies. The two sides agreed on at least one thing.
Antisemitism was a European problem, but one which they decided to export to Palestine as a "solution", essentially by the British who were the ones who made Israel possible. Censorship of critics of Israel goes back a ways. Look up the story of celebrated journalist Dorothy Thompson. Before WWII she was pro-Zionist. Then she visited Palestine just after the war and switched sides and wrote pro-Palestinian articles. She soon lost her jobs and was basically black-balled.
What amazes me to this day is that anti-Palestinian racism even as a mere concept is never ever addressed. Where there is loss of life on both sides it is understood that seeming to take sides is not an abstract principle for people living in Israel especially if they are Zionist.
However are we expected to believe that people Jewish or non Jewish who feel for the plight of a subjugated nation do not care about Palestinian people on a human level in the least, that they simply raise the issue because they are covertly or pro-actively anti-semitic . What kind of insulting and offensive gaslighting is this that is permitted free rein ?

It is interesting to think about the semantics of the term anti-Semitic. In the Biblical context, I have learned that the descendants of Noah's son Shem are the Shemites or Semitic people. The lineage of Shem was chosen to fulfill the Most High God's purpose of redemption for mankind's fallen state. The question is about the in fact origin of a people claiming to be the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Only 1 Tribe out of the 12 Tribes of Jacob called Israel are genetically considered as Jews. This Tribe is Judah, which occupied the Kingdom of Judah and Judea as Judeans, or Jews. Then there are the descendants of Noah's son Japheth who converted to the culture and religion of the Hebrews and specifically the Israelite Hebrew descendants of Jacob. So, we must be definitive in the application of the term anti-Semitic. Modern day Jewry is Edom, and this fact is documented by Jewish scholarship.
An ethnic Jew, who is the least bit critical of any Israeli policy towards the Palestinians, is now automatically branded anti-semitic, which is something right out of Himmler's playbook.
