The shooting down of a Turkish drone near Tripoli and the capture of six Turkish sailors by Gen. Haftar’s forces reveals the Turkey’s and Egypt’s involvement on both sides of the civil war. Meanwhile Haftar’s forces are accused of bombing a migration detention center near Tripoli, killing 44 and injuring 130

They usually wait until several decades have past AND the surviving public has forgotten before they BS the next, unaware generation ; the fact they lie so blatantly AND so early must be some kind of new test to see just how far they can get away from historical reality AND apparently, the sooner the better.

  2. When the NATO invaded, Gaddafi gave the call to arms, for every able bodied was offered a weapon and told to organize into fighting units. To no avail, for though Gaddafi had a true socialist government with free education, healthcare and housing, with near full employment, most all were ingrates who refused to fight.

  3. You forgot to mention that General Khalifa Haftar is a CIA asset working for the interests of the Global Plutocratic Imperialists. Here is some of the text from his Wikipedia page: "While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Gaddafi. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in Langley, Virginia, in the US, gaining U.S. citizenship. Haftar held a senior position in the forces which overthrew Gaddafi in the 2011 Libyan Civil War."

What do you think he was doing in Langley, Virginia for nearly two decades?

This is just another example of the Plutocrats creating yet another dictator in the Middle East.

  4. What's with the anonymous reporting and lack of sourcing of this story? As a monetary supporter of TRNN, I'd like to know.

  5. Too vague. I already knew that much (just read Russian media in English or Spanish, no big deal). The question is: how far will Turkey go in order to support their favorite (Haftar is winning) and which is the US, French, British and Italian stand?

Egypt may be supporting Haftar, but Egypt is way too weak on its own to matter, behind Egypt stand Saudi Arabia and surely Israel as well, and thus the USA even if so far it keeps a low profile. What about the rest? I understand that Britain is too mesmerized with its internal Brexit problem to be of any relevance right now but France and Italy are relevant powers, the ousting of Ghadafi basically favored French and British interests at the expense of Italian ones, recently Italy sided with China in the Belt & Road project, what may suggest they'd be rather favorable to Turkey, another far-right government semi-aligned with China (I say "semi" because Turkey is still part of NATO and the US stand is very indecisive re. Ankara and Erdogan). So… which is their stand? Also of interest could be what Germany and Russia may want.

  6. Why not send HRC and Slick Willie the Bill? Eye heard online from multiole reliable sources, that they both made a serious mess on yur turf! Happy INDEPENDENCE DAY***

  7. ".. after the death of former president Gaddafi."
That is a nice euphemism for being captured, shot, sodomized, and ravished by Nato-backed jihadis
