Election is not democracy. Israel is a nation of educated citizenry with very small population of about 9 millions.Technologically advanced intelligent and intellectual people must have direct democracy.

I think it is a bit of a stretch to say that Odeh was cheered and "buoyed" by the crowd he spoke to.
Considering how much racism there is in that country, I doubt this leader was truly accepted at this rally and protest.
