We returned to Hampton, Iowa yesterday in search of Ethan Kazmerzak who has been missing for 7 years, after receiving new information. After just 30 minutes on the water with sonar, we identified a car underwater. Within the hour we dove on the car, identified the car and license plate is a match to Ethan’s car.

Searching for Ethan Kazmerzak… $100,000 REWARD… (Cold Case Mystery)
The Sheriff and Local Police Chief were contacted, meeting us on the scene.
We can confirm that human remains have been identified inside of the car.
It will not be until after a coroner’s report that we can confirm the remains found are Ethan’s.
Ethan’s parents were on the scene, but we respected their privacy and did not speak with them as this is a hard time for their family.

Recovery Efforts and Continued Investigation of Ethan Kazmerzak
Date: 10/27/2020
On 10/26/2020 a dive team located what is believed to be Ethan Kazmerzak’s 2006 Volkswagen.
The car was found submerged in water northwest of Hampton, Iowa.
This location is near one of the last locations Kazmerzak was seen on 9/15/2013.
This is a body of water that has been searched two times prior, looking for evidence of Kazmerzak and his vehicle.
Efforts are underway to make a recovery of the vehicle today.
We request that proper space, respect and consideration be shown to the Kazmerzak family and agencies involved in this continued investigation.
Information will follow as this investigation continues.
