Day 2 – COMING SOON

In 1975, the vibrant city of Boston was rocked by the sudden disappearance of Dorothy Goroshko. Last seen at the Penalty Box, a popular local bar, Dorothy’s night out turned into a decades-long mystery. Driving her distinctive yellow 1970 Ford Maverick with a black top, license plate 9K7755, Dorothy vanished without a trace. Her journey home to Brighton, a mere 9 miles away, became one of the most perplexing missing persons cases in the area.

As a mother of three, Dorothy’s absence left a void in her family that could never be filled. Her children, especially her son Rick, have spent years wondering about her fate, holding onto the hope that one day they might find some answers. Today, we’re working to retrace Dorothy’s last known steps and explore new leads with the hope of solving this decades-old mystery.

🚤 Diving Into the Unknown: The Search Begins

Our search takes us to the Charles River, a picturesque yet complex area filled with potential clues to Dorothy’s disappearance. With the help of local expert Bill McIntosh, we navigate the waters and the history of Boston, piecing together the events of that fateful night. Our mission is clear: to explore every possible scenario, from accidental to the unthinkable, using state-of-the-art sonar technology to scan the depths of the river where Dorothy’s car may have ended up.

The 1970 Ford Maverick, known for its distinctive yellow color and black top, is not just a vehicle but a key piece of this puzzle. With its history of mechanical issues, including brake problems, we’re faced with the possibility that an accident could have led to Dorothy’s disappearance. Our search is not just about technology and techniques; it’s about understanding the human element, the decisions that lead someone home or astray, and the impact of those decisions on the lives of loved ones left behind.

The mysterious disappearance of Dorothy raises several questions that could point towards foul play. Firstly, the context of her last known location, the Penalty Box bar, a bustling spot in Boston, suggests she may have encountered someone with malicious intent. The era, coupled with the late hours of the night, adds a layer of vulnerability to her situation. Secondly, the sudden and complete vanishing of Dorothy, without any trace or message to her family, hints at an orchestrated disappearance rather than an accidental one. Lastly, considering the challenges and limitations of law enforcement investigations during that time, the possibility that foul play was involved but went undetected or unsolved is plausible. These factors combined create a haunting possibility that Dorothy’s disappearance was not merely an accident but potentially a calculated act of murder.

  1. Why don’t y’all drop in every car you find? Or do you at least tell someone so they can? I’m not trying to be rude I’m just really curious. Thank you. ❤❤❤I love what y’all do & enjoy watching your vids!!!

  2. Jared tried to order a few items but everytime they wanted to give me a code # it erased all my item info plus added one I didn’t want. Very difficult. I’ll try again later, if I’m doing something wrong please let me know

  3. That's what Bruce Rivers, Criminal Defense Attorney, always says on his channel. Nothing good happens after midnight. It's one of his mantras. Even though it's so old, her loved ones are still very much around. It's an important one. Thank you for keeping at it!
