Driving her distinctive yellow 1970 Ford Maverick with a black top, license plate 9K7755, Dorothy vanished without a trace. Her journey home to Brighton, a mere 9 miles away, became one of the most perplexing missing persons cases in the area.

As a mother of three, Dorothy’s absence left a void in her family that could never be filled. Her children, especially her son Rick, have spent years wondering about her fate, holding onto the hope that one day they might find some answers. Today, we’re working to retrace Dorothy’s last known steps and explore new leads with the hope of solving this decades-old mystery.

Our search takes us to the Charles River, a picturesque yet complex area filled with potential clues to Dorothy’s disappearance. With the help of local expert Bill McIntosh, we navigate the waters and the history of Boston, piecing together the events of that fateful night. Our mission is clear: to explore every possible scenario, from accidental to the unthinkable, using state-of-the-art sonar technology to scan the depths of the river where Dorothy’s car may have ended up.
