On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, MrLeisek, Nick Rinn, Chris and Richard head to Seattle Washington for some underwater treasure hunting at the Seattle Big Wheel. 🎡
We went scuba diving the day before and found 6 phones and a bike.
While there, we spotted at least 6 more bikes in the ocean. 🚴🏻♂️
You can imagine our surprise when we pulled out 7 bicycles from underwater and spotted at least another 5 bikes that we left behind.
One of them… maybe two of the bikes were e-bikes.
All of the bikes we found in the ocean were rental bikes. Terrible!!
On top of that, if I had to guess, there are 20+ chairs and tables under the Seattle Great Wheel.
Really, we need a good 3-4 days with back-to-back dives and a volunteer force with ropes in hand to help us retrieve the underwater finds.
Of course, we found more cell phones along with 5 more radios tossed into the ocean.
What I really liked was all the sea life like the crabs. 🦀

I wonder if some of the stuff you found might of been Japan psunami stuff. You should set the table and chairs up and take a picture of you setting at it under water. Lol While watching a video of you and friends pulling bikes etc you appear to be a little bit more goofy than you are now.

I wonder if would be easier to take grappling hook.. hook it on.. then have them pick it up.. or with all those bikes drag them to a pile and drop strong magnet to pick up. Love videos and great job cleaning up the water

Great video! Glad to see all those e-bikes being removed. E-bikes and scooters are TERRIBLE for the environment. Thousands have been stolen and dumped in bodies of water and each one carries a battery. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep watching!

You should come dive the Columbia River in Kennewick. I bet there is some cool stuff around the Blue Bridge where they hold the Boat Races.
When you go diving in places like this do you need get permission from someone or let the police or fire department know that you're doing it before you go?
do you guys get to keep the bikes you find or do you have to return them to the rental places?
the electric bike/scooter system that the cities use in washington was the biggest waste of tax dollars around

I see a crab, catch crab. Dam crab tries to bite me.
I do the same thing everytime I see one diving, like somehow I am expecting to one-day find a friendly crab that just wants a cuddle and a belly scratch.
So, how much for the chairs? Can't think of a better place for the boom boxes!!!

After review, I see it’s labeled Seattle Aquarium, but my very first instinct was that that was the hotel that Led Zeppelin destroyed rooms and topped it off with a legendary story about a fish er something….😉.
Friends and l use to sit over a bridge with a 4 pronge grab hook and 100 feet of rope and drag the channel to see what we got . 25 bicycles, and about 15 shopping carts in one weekend.
Those bikes are in decent shape! A little work and I’d put them on Facebook marketplace!

Is it not possible to find a company that also wants to make a contribution to nature that may wish to make a hoist system available with a hook or, if necessary, a large cage construction in which you can deposit bicycles and suchlike. You do a wonderful job and I enjoy it to the full.
