You never know what you’re going to find and/or get yourself into on your next treasure hunt, especially when you go scuba diving and hunting for river treasure here in Central Oregon.
On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, our team set out with MrLeisek and Griffin on another underwater treasure hunting adventure in the Deschutes River here in Bend, Oregon.
Every time we get in the water and go scuba diving, it’s a new treasure hunting adventure which never disappoints as we tend to always find a goldmine of treasure and garbage along the way.
On this little adventure we found not one iPhone, but two lost iPhones, hundreds of dollars in designer sunglasses, a headless Dutch garden gnome, a working camera, and a slew of other river treasures and garbage along the way.
Other river treasure items we’ve found include dog toys, vintage roller skates, jewelry, a copper bracelet, older than the smokes battery, dog toys, golf balls, marbles, tennis balls, clothes and more!
Have personally pulled 980+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers so far this year. … 〽️
At the end of the day, we feel amazing about our efforts with all the garbage we remove from the lakes and rivers in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. 🐟
