48-year-old Shane Strong was last known to be at a family gathering for a BBQ on November 17th, 2021. His disappearance has left Ogden PD with little clues as to where he may have gone. Local waterways – Pineview and Causey reservoirs just outside of Ogden, Utah are surrounded by shear wall cliffs along with exposed roadways were of special interest to the case.

With the help of the Diesel Brothers – Heavy D Sparks and special equipment, our teams were able to successfully extract both vehicles – a win for the environment. Special thanks to Ogden PD, Weber County Sheriff’s Office, United States Forest Service and Utah Department of Natural Resources for their support.
Before food was served that evening, Shane had left the gathering in his orange 1977 Chevy Impala (License Plate: L524F) – believed to be heading back home to where he was staying.
Even though Shane’s disappearance remains a mystery, this is not stopping Doug Bishop and Peter Coughlin, from investigating further into this peculiar case.
