In this episode of Adventures with Purpose, we return to the Oregon City Bridge on the Willamette River south of Portland Oregon in search of 300 stolen Harley Davidson motorcycles tossed in the river over 90′ deep.

The rumor is that in the late ’60s to early ’70s, those being inducted into a famous OUTLAW Motorcycle Club would acquire Harley parts for other club members.

Don’t worry if you were actually involved and we find them for the statute of limitations has long passed and nobody will be prosecuting past crimes.

Unfortunately, the motorcycle legend is currently a bust, but maybe we were looking in the wrong spot.

What we did find underwater was a car in a pond.

We caught wind of another scorned girlfriend who was cheated on and had a few friends who didn’t mind stealing the boyfriends ’68 Camaro and disposing of it in the pond.

Unfortunately again, I think we debunked this myth and only found a VW Bug.

But… I’m not yet convinced the ’68 Camaro isn’t just buried under some of the overgrown plants.

Should we go back?

  1. VWs do have trunks, in the front. I've owned two. Were the windows up?? VWs float. I got stuck in a flash flood & my car floated while all the rest of the vehicles around me sunk.

  2. Just happen on you're channel 😊 so now I'm binge watching. Saw 1 where you mentioned the negative comments. Not sure about there interpretation, but it's all positive to me, haters gonna hate. Please don't let the keyboard warriors bother you. Keep up the brilliant work, I'm impressed with you're care and compassion, and how you help these family's. Love from the UK X

  3. I lived with the president of a bike club for more years than I’d like to admit lol. I’ve heard the hidden, buried ,etc stash of cycles in many many different forms but the sunk in a lake version is new roflmao !!!!

  4. Getting rid of 300 harleys would be so much work, there is no way you wouldn't be caught in the act cause it would take all night and be incredibly noisy also you would need probably 2 semi trailers plus a lot of people to get rid of that many tons of steel its really just a rediculous story 1 or 2 maybe but 150-300 is laughable.

  5. I live in Southeast (farthest part) Iowa and my then boyfriend ,now husband, and a couple friends got their bikes stolen. Not all were Harleys in the upper 70's. Non were never found.

  6. I used to work for one of the credit reporting agencies and one of our customers was Harley Davidson's corporate office. They told us some wild stories of the lengths people went through to hide Harley's that were stolen, going to be repossessed due to non-payment, etc. It was insane. One was taken completely apart and all the pieces were hidden in a bathroom wall behind the shower kit. Another one was taken completely apart and buried in cement blocks and buried under a cement patio/slab. That's just a few of many stories. I don't get it…they can use them if they're in pieces in a bathroom wall or in cement blocks under a cement patio/slab so why bother going to that extent to hide them. Idiots thinking they are smart and could put the bikes back together at some point. Fools. People are weird. lol
