ACID Leaking into Lake Found and Removed while Underwater Treasure Hunting! (Scuba Diving)

Went scuba diving for underwater treasures and found a leaking battery in the lake. Couldn’t leave it there so we removed it.☠️💦

We never know what our next river treasure hunting adventure is going to find, especially when we go scuba diving underwater in the lakes, rivers, and waterfalls here in Oregon.

On this episode of Adventures with Purpose, we set out on another underwater scuba diving, treasure hunting adventure at Haystack Reservoir here in Central Oregon.

Honestly, we were expecting a lot more trash and treasure in this little honey hole.

While there wasn’t a whole lot of treasure, we are stoked about pulling the leaking battery out of the lake and saving the environment from any more acid leaking into the water and harming the aquatic life.

We also found the run of the mill bottles and cans, along with clothes, dog toys, broken glass, hats, and even a broken pair of sunglasses.

We have personally pulled 3000+ pounds of garbage out of the lakes and rivers this year. … 〽️🙌🏼

At the end of the day, we feel amazing about our efforts with all the garbage we remove from the lakes and rivers in our attempt to help save the planet, the fish, and the animals. 🐟
