The $ for the border wall that was earmarked in 2019 for that purpose, was dumped on Biden when Trump's Executive Branch failed to execute (carry out) that task. By blaming Biden for carrying out his Executive Branch's duties under the Impoundment Control Act to execute use of these funds, media is helping Trump discredit Biden's sincerity when Biden says he doesn't think the border wall is a good investment to solve our immigration problem!

I believe Jim Jordan was in on it with Matt Gaetz to remove Kevin McCarthy as Speaker. All Jim had to do was vote yes to show favor and Matt already had the eight they needed to oust Kevin. As soon as the way was cleared Jim said pick me for Speaker and Matt said okay!
