Joe Manchin, a moderate Democrat, announced Thursday he won’t seek re-election in 2024 — but he will be “traveling the country and speaking out to see if there’s an interest in creating a movement to mobilize the middle and bring Americans together.” For Republicans, this makes the possibility of flipping Manchin’s seat (and potentially control of the Senate) look even stronger. Sen.
