Pres. Biden could use a professor of religious studies advisor. There’s so much going on and how his visit will be perceived even if he has the best of intentions. Those of us claiming to be Christians believe scripture. God gave the land to Israel. There’s mention also of converts, and acceptance of strangers and sojourners in the land. But there can be no two state solution. That’s against God and an authority advocating for, esp one who may visit at this time which is pregnant with signs may be perceived as anti God/anti Christ. Scripture even has God at a particular time ordering the killing of everyone aside from Israel who occupy the land – these would be those wanting the land for their own state. However we also see in parts when warning is given. Israel has warned a people hostile to it to move. That doesn’t mean every one is hostile but how can Israel tell who’s a snake and who isn’t when the pit is no longer contained for the most part? The situation reached a head, no denying. At some point, Palestinians who pass security checks may be able to come back but, if not converts, they are strangers and sojourners in the land by God’s standard. The most that can be conceded is to give additional time but this is moving into stalling where organizations can assist with the move. Why would any organization want to stall when there’s no water? To claim humanitarian crisis to make Israel look bad. Why can’t they say “we’re working on it. Can we get three more days?” Plus lay out strategy for evacuation? We let out football stadiums with over 100,000 in hours. Yes there’s the challenge of those with health problems but it’s not impossible.
