  1. From reading Dr Reed's works i understand that his ideal for black ppl asking for reparations to ask “what do we get?” and not worrying ab whether to call it “reparations” or something else, that the focus on the R word instead of the “so what do we actually get?” question is what he's against.

  2. Cutting checks for black people is not gonna help long term issues. We need to INVEST in black communities! ASAP.
Maybe Bloomberg or Steyer can cut Y’all a check meanwhile..I might take it too:) but that is not going to help the future generation, nor it’s gonna create paying jobs and education for all.

  3. Does Anyone Remember A Public Debate about REPARATIONS For The JEWS, THE JAPANESE and NATIVE AMERICANS The Government Just GAVE THEM REPARATIONS
NO QUESTIONS ASKED. These People are Blowing SMOKE UP OUR ASS.The Narrative ,they are putting forth is Negative and Works Against Black #ADOS.

  4. Jacqueline, you did an excellent job with your questions and attempts to hold him to the issue. I am very disappointed in Prof. Reed's position, awkwardness and lack of political imagination with respect to what is possible and necessary for our people to survive. We need better than him.

  5. What the eff. You can say reparations or bust, but without Sanders we are all going down. If Sanders isn’t for it, it’s not because he doesn’t believe in the cause. Please. Look at every one of his policies. It’s because he is trying to revolutionize the system to be one which we could accomplish reparations. Until then it will not happen.

  6. I actually agree with him. The way our system works, reparations needs some work. We currently don't have a strategy to even get one branch of government on our side.

  7. How is M4A reparations? Is Bernie receiving M4A or are he and his people receiving a monthly check for something that has nothing whatsoever to do with the US? My ancestors fought for my freedom and his. What is this man even talking about?

  8. All these black nationalist youtubers are all talk. What's the policy strategy???staying home?
Black people already stay home. That doesnt get things done.
When are one of these so called black power youtubers going to form a group to go talk to politicians? Is all were going to do is write hashtags and talk on the internet????

  9. This is how stupid the no vote people are. Especially the ADOS people.
Theres zero chance that 1 single Republican in the Senate would vote for reparations. Zero chance that a Republican president would sign off on it. Zero strategy to make it happen. The majority of the American people arent for it. And never will be as long as they're the majority. If you're a contributor to society ie working class citizen that happens to be black, you should vote for someone that aligns with your politics.
Do you want free healthcare, lesser taxes, free college ,
Taxing and regulating rich corporations. Stopping the prison industrial complex? If you're a middle class or poor black person, you should want these things.

  10. Reparations is an INTERNATIONAL WORLDS COURT ISSUE not an American Issue; America is the DEFENDANT. Negroe attorneys need to file their LAWSUIT IN INTERNATIONAL WORLDS COURT/ UNITED NATIONS…

  11. Reparations is something specific for black American decendants OF slavery. Its these old defeated people who cant imagine winning for justice

  12. I believe that Reparations would boost our economy, money will be changing hands. For example I can buy a new car, that means GM will be saleing more cars. That's a boost to the economy. Thank you! Mic'19 ADOS get involved!
