  1. If you're going to keep putting curved screens on phones then don't take away the pre installed screen protector.

  2. What is Samsung's reason for omitting so much in their later models? First the headphones and headphone jack, now the charging brick?
And the S21 supports the S pen but the built-in slot for it found in the Note series is excluded here. And there's no SD card slot either.

  3. Mehh glasstic like note 20 feels cheap and low quality! Also lower resolution :-/ we had qhd since s6…. with the s21 series it’s the ultra or nothing!

  4. People getting mad at Samsung for removing features and using plastic but you'll also see people in this comment section incentivising Samsung by buying an S21 lmao 🙈

  5. Did Samsung pay these reviewers to say that "Plastic/polycarbonate looks good as their preferred choice instead of glass back"?

  6. You big youtuber, read my comments. We are from a poor family, my father is dead, I can't cure my younger brother's cancer due to lack of money, if you donate something or put a video on your channel so that people can donate for my brother

  7. Why are people obsessed with the micro sd card, surely 128/256/512 is enough storage…..
And just use the charger block from the last phone we purchased…..all phone companies will be following suit eventually, just like the headphone jack.

  8. I was really looking forward to this launch and wanted to upgrade my one and a half yr old note 10 plus but I am rethinking after all the things missing from the new devices. The lack of micro sd might be a deal breaker for me.

  9. And you think they would had learned from Apple to include the charging brick. What good is it to buy a phone if you can't charge it? You should not have to spend money on a after market charging brick.

  10. Samsung going in the same route as Apple by not including a charging brick is totally not recommended… And the usage of plastic instead of glass in a flagship that costs more than $1000 is downright unacceptable.

  11. 1st take away the headphone jack. Annoyed but fine. 2nd take away adapter. Inconvenienced but fine. 3rd taking away microSD? That’s a big NO. Why?

    1. Security issues. You will never be able to trade in your phone anymore without having to worry someone might recover erased data from your traded-in phone. Good data recovery apps such as Acronis will be able to purge all erased files. It’s the same reason why I would never sell a hard drive. With microSD, your storage is with you regardless of hardware changes.

    2. Convenience. When time to switch/upgrade the phone, it will be great hassle to transfer data to the new phone. Especially if you have a lot of data stored. With microSD, all you need is to do is just swipe in the old card to the new phone, and you’ll have all your data instantly. Yes this can be mitigated thru cloud storage. But no thanks. You will need to be anchored to internet connection at all time to retrieve data. Also there are places and countries where internet is less than reliable.

    3. Stuck with whatever storage the phone has. With MicroSD, it is super convenience to be able to swipe in different cards. This is no more.

What Samsung is taking away vs. what new features it added has reached a point where the negatives start to outweigh the pluses. Taking away microSD is where the line is drawn, imho.
