Marine Door Gunner Firing M134 Minigun #shorts

A U.S. Marine fires an M134 Minigun out of a UH-1Y Venom helicopter during a close air support training in the Republic of Korea (ROK) as part of exercise Sang Yong.

Exercise Sang Yong is conducted annually in the Republic of Korea (ROK) to enhance the interoperability of U.S. and ROK forces by performing a full spectrum of amphibious operations while showcasing sea-based power projection in the Pacific.

Footage includes flying alongside an AH-1Z Viper.

The M134 Minigun is an American 7.62×51mm NATO six-barrel rotary machine gun with a high rate of fire (can fire up to 3,000 rounds per minute).
