2. I wish I knew this back when I needed my dirt bike cylinder bored. The shop wanted 20 for each stud. At 16 cutting grass to earn extra money it was expensive

27. I've never done it while working on engine's, but have in other situations and already knew what was gonna happen before it happened. It's definitely something to let people know about.

30. If you put the nuts closer to the base you will be less likely to snap the stud should it become seized

32. Little tip, if they are tight, wind the nuts all the way down to the head, less twist in the stud and less likely to snap

36. Wish i seen this a little sooner. Working on my 1994 Chevy 350 motor durring fall. Installing a new water pump i needed to remove the fan and use the existing fan studs on the new pump… thats when i learned this truck here.

41. If I was rebuilding a head I would just replace the studs so I really don’t care how they come out, just sayin.

42. I would use this even if the stud has an end where you can use a torx because this doesn’t risk damaging them
