I have a question for anyone who might know about car inspections and sway bar links. My 2000 Infiniti G20 failed inspection because one of my sway bar links had a very slight movement up and down. I also had a exhaust flex pipe that was leaking so when I took it to the muffler shop to get that repaired he said the loose sway bar would not be a reason to fail inspection, he said it has to be broke. Can anyone confirm yes it will fail or no it won't, thanks in advance.

You really should replace those bolts. Any bolts on the underside of the vehicle that really should be replaced to ensure future serviceability. Reusing old bolts with loc-tite can very well lead to a future broken bolt and a large headache. Typically, a suitable replacement can be found at your local hardware store.
I didn't know you had to unbolt the sway bar lol, I feel so dumb as I loosened the lower control arm when I replaced the upper control arm to be able to slide the link in. I have no idea how I didn't think of taking off 4 bolts to get the link in lol. Thank you for saving me a hassle
Thank you for your videos Chris! I think almost 50% of the wear & tear parts replaced by myself. It save a lot. I also did a simple comparison test between the workshops and myself. I think I prefer myself as workshop just do to beat against the time and number of cars they attended to.

I’m replacing links. I had to buy three.( cross threaded one) on all three, the nut is extremely hard to tighten. In all the videos, I’m not seeing anyone having to crank on the nuts to tighten. Is it just the brand(Duralast) ?? 97 Chev express 2500. Van.
Problem is, all of those bushings looked to be in okay condition
