Day 3 of Sick Week led us to Georgia Motorsports Park. We had another unfortunate wreck on the top end of the track. Driver was transported to the hospital but is ok aside form a couple minor injuries. Thank God for safety equipment! Some of our fastest competitors dropped out this day including Cleetus! We hope you enjoy al the coverage thus far on Sick Week and of course we have 2 more days to come!

  3. Nooo not the volvo! I'm catching up but that was my favourite car and only rescued from the scrapper a few months earlier!
    At least it got a few more miles before the end, I suspose.

    :edits: This comment is after the event and reading other comments I know the driver was okay, just thought I'd mention it in case anyone wonder why my comment showed no concern for the guy in the car.

  4. What does it mean, when a car is a kit car? Does it mean, that you buy a complete car, but have to put it all together yourself.. kinda like a model kit?

  10. "About 1200 at the crank" It's insane how much power engines make these days. Street driveable engines. Turbos and EFI have come a long, long way. Back in the early 70s an alcohol blown Hemi made 1200 HP and ran slower than some of these street cars.

  11. Love the videos at 1320 but I see too many times of TWO lanes racing but the camera man only shows ONE time. Usually makes me watch something else after a few minutes of that crap.

This may sound dumb to some of y’all but I was never a drag racer, I would run distance as in several miles in my 1981 Z-28 with 305ci, air induction and 2:56 gears But my question is how can 2 cars that are so close in time have such a big difference in mph. I saw 2 run side by side where one ran like a 8-68 at 150mph and the other one was about a 8-98 at 132mph I never was good at math.
