You've skipped decades of occupation of buildings and even military bases in Europe (and probably other comparable situations in Latin America, like the Zapatista Autonomous Zone in half of Chiapas), seems to me that there's a lot of modern revolutionary history that is not known in the USA…

Are anarchist groups willing to utilize the judicial system to enact any change? I would think by ideology, no, though I admit my ignorance on the matter. However, there is the case of William Kunstler and the Chicago case where the court was treated as a farce. On the other hand, many of the Civil Rights protests ended up in court, with important decisions like Brown vs. Board of Education and Browder vs. Gayle that helped outlaw segregation in schools and buses, but it continued in actual practice, especially property ownership and finance.
It seems that each of us have to recognize the autonomous zone within our own psyche first.

From Seattle: Fox News and those who drink from that trough act like the CHAZ was some vast swath of lawless territory. The CHAZ literally took up the streets BETWEEN three city blocks next to the police station. It was tiny but highly effective.
