Today the frame rail repair and replace on the salvage Ford Focus RS is painted and completed 100% at the Vtuned Garage! It looks brand new and all the car needs now is final assembly.

Who the fuck is stupid enough to put filler on a frame? Its going to crack in time and then the frame will rust.
Hey Samcrac, I understand that you don't live in Australia and may not know our laws, but I have found a Toyota 86 that is labelled as a statutory write-off meaning that is not able to ever be registered again in Aus (usually due to extensive damage that renders the car irreparable) and I was wondering if you would be able to make a video or if someone could please give me an explanation to why it is a complete loss, as it only seems to have some dint's on it's bonnet/hood from a hail storm. Frame repair is such a specialised skill and vtuned knocked it out of the park. Wish I had a fraction of his skills☺️. Could've done some work on my dream rides😔

But we need moore 😉 😉 !! -By the way, -did you or the repair guys put any paint or primer or anything at all on the inside if the welds on the frame-repairs?? If not, isn`t that a potential rust issue for the future coming as the years roll by on a car??? -maybe not any issue in the states where you live as it would be here in scandinavia. By the way rebuild a scandinavian car, we have a pretty good one called Koeningsegg, there cheap! 🙂 Best Regards, and keep up the good work.
Looks minimal wear to me, and not factory new
The filler steps are such a waste. Bare metal should be treated with Ospho/Fozz and then primed properly so it actually lasts instead of just looking good.
