We found ourselves at Bradenton Motorsports Park once again but not for what you’d think! Usually we’re there for some good ol’ drag racing with street cars. This time around we got the treat of watching top fuel, funny cars, and more at the inaugural Pro Superstar Shootout with $1,300,000 up for grabs! The fans have never got to be this close to cars like this ever before! It’s truly a one of a kind experience. To make things even better, they’re racing for WAY more money than they usually do! It really made the finals INTENSE. As if things couldn’t get better, we got to watch these cars break records at a track like this, unreal! We absolutely LOVED this event, and hope they do more so we can come back!

  2. Wondering top fuels still have potential? I mean maybe the regulations keep them where they are and the challange is to keep them running on this level again and again. But in terms of materials or aerodynamic I can imagine there is always an option.

  5. To all the climate change freaks. I loved going to drag races, having a beer, burning burgers! Ride your bicycle, drink water and eat bugs!

  7. I wish more of these events would take place. I know top fuel drivers make decent money but these type of events would make the drivers and teams more motivated to win and put on a great show. The NHRA does put on a good show but they only go to certain tracks and this could really get more people going to races closer to their homes by going to tracks that are off the beaten path. I know this track isn’t just some random place but not everyone can travel real far for a NHRA sanctioned event.
