  1. I subscribed then unsubscribed after seeing your decision with the engines. A Italian made boat of that DNA and rarity is not car project but yet you treat it like one.

  2. What were you thinking? You should have kept the power train original, it Italian made and Italian designed. Also very limited run. You are pulling a Havana job on that boat when you don’t need to. But it is your boat to do as you please, we just hate watching it. If that was an original numbers matching classic muscle car would you have done that?

  3. What ever you put in there, make sure you stick with "diesels" ! You do not want gasoline engines in a boat that size ! I lost a good friend due to a short in a bilge blower motor. The explosion killed him, and the boat burned to the waterline, then sank !

  4. Soooo one engine had issues and you called a diesel mechanic to inspect the engine and diagnose the problem……right?
I’m wondering why you slipped the boat and decided to replace both!! both engines.

  5. Hi bro. I really enjoy your videos and your experiences on the boat and also how you get your boat fixed. But just a small request from you as not to shake the camera so much that it gives me motion sickness watching the videos at times. I have no choice but to fast-forward the videos.

  6. Had you known befoire you purchased the boat that the engines need rebuild would you have still purchased the boat? Also have you got ahold of the people that sold you the boat?
As you stated the boat was way less than the others that have sold. To me there is normally a reason for the light price. They knew they were selling something that was on the edge of death thus the price. Talk to them. they certainly dont want you yapping to the world that they screwed you . Especially with the vast numbers of people that listen to you.
Well that's me I would absolutely let hem know and send the right person an email of your YouTube channel.

  7. Yachting It is expensive spor, perhaps the most expensive of all! when you buy 30 years old Riva 43 you owe it to yourself to be prepared for everything. I repair similar boats the last 40 years …… *you bought a barrel without a bottom!

  8. Not hatin or anything but this dude can afford to have diesel engines polled and rebuilt but can’t call a tow truck and have it towed to a shop and repaired? I guess it’s the idea of making content for the video.

  9. I'm betting that the engine that was hurt , the bearings are shot. this means the crank will need turning. With 30 years on the motors, both motors will need new pistons(maybe) , new rings (for sure) And new camshafts. Trust me, you did the RIGHT THING buy planning to re-build both engines. CHEERS.

  10. Swapping the engines out to gasoline is probably not a good idea, BUT, if it’s a project supported by the engine supplier, in other words at a very small cost , it’s a good idea. Finding a buyer later might prove a problem. He is Not a fool, 95% of subscribers say “ renovate old diesels “.

It’s a project, far more interesting with an engine swap . Good luck guys.

  11. The Coast Guard ran the Cummins VT903s from 1976 to 2006. They ran every day, just need to do the maintenance and keep the fuel clean. Dirty fuel ruins a diesel.

  12. Always wanted to own a powerboat until now. WOW! I know the reputation boats have but holy cow!? Just listening to the list of things that need to be done is exhausting. Great videos! I actually found this channel when you got the boat initially.
