On March 12, 2021, Brookhaven police officers responded to a call reporting a man peeing in front of a house in Georgian Hills Park, Atlanta.
The officers encountered a man who matched the description provided by the caller. When asked if he was the one urinating in front of the house, the man denied it and claimed it was not him.
The officer requested the man’s name and date of birth in order to identify him, but the suspect provided false information.
A backup officer arrived on the scene to assist, and a fingerprint scanner was used to identify the suspect.
During a search of the suspect, officers discovered that he was wearing multiple coats and had various identification cards and credit cards with different names.
The suspect was arrested and charged with financial transaction card theft, giving false name, address, or birthdate to a law enforcement officer, and theft of lost/mislaid property.
