On March 3, 2022, Brookhaven police officers were on routine patrol when they scanned the SUV license plate and discovered that the car had been reported stolen.
The driver of the SUV, an exotic dancer from a local gentlemen’s club, attempted to evade the officers by turning into a nearby parking lot.
However, she was soon spotted on the road again and pulled over.
Upon questioning, the driver claimed that she had no knowledge of the vehicle being stolen. According to her statement, a regular client of the club had lent her the car.
Despite her explanation, the driver was arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property. She was transported to DeKalb County Jail to await further legal proceedings.
