On January 6, 2023, The Flagler County Sheriff’s Deputies received a 911 call about a man rummaging through porch packages and stealing water bottles in Palm Coast, Florida.
When deputies arrived, they saw him trying to go in through a second-story window using a ladder that he took to a neighboring house.
Deputies made contact with the suspect, who was perched in the window. The man was identified as 48-year-old Ricardo Gonzalez. He said he had just returned from a walk.
Gonzalez was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary of a dwelling, criminal mischief, petty theft and transported to Flagler County Jail.
