On October 28, 2022 Florida Highway Patrol communications center in Jacksonville got a call about cars that had been reported stolen.
During the chase Dodge Hellcat hit speeds of 160 miles per hour.
Once the driver in the 2022 Dodge Hellcat sped past on Interstate 75, the trooper immediately hit the gas and started the chase.
It took the trooper roughly six-and-a-half minutes to catch up to the driver. That was only possible after other troopers used a spike strip on the car.
Several troopers approached the car, which had crashed into the median. Occupants were nowhere to be found. They ran into the nearby woods.
By 1:20 p.m. Friday, all three suspects were captured and put under arrest. Charges against them include grand theft, fleeing police and obstructing justice.

As much as I do like these chase vids. I dont get the sentiment of LE chasing a person doing over 80mph and doing the same or more over speed limit. Therefore having 2 people on the road driving excessively fast endangering more civilians! When LE can inform other jurisdictions to cut suspect off or use strips? Hope I made some sense …..I did in MY mind, lol!
I know when I was a kid we had muscle cars and we could do speeds but we respected the law so we did our best not to get caught today people don’t have that respect today people don’t understand that a ton of steel flying through the air at that speed will kill anything in its path and all you need to do is pass a credit check?
Damn why didn’t he get off an exit ?
That speed wobble at 2:42 is the kinda shit you see before your life flashes before your eyes
If you don’t want to see 6 minutes of driving, skip to 6:50.
What a boring video
That's exactly why there are so many fatalities on 75 smh. Frickin psychos putting others at risk for an adrenaline rush? Asshats like this should never be allowed behind the wheel again
So they wouldn't have got em if the spikes didn't get in on the chase lmao
The availability of these amazing new cars has led to thousands of drivers who have absolutely no idea how to control 3,450 pounds of iron hurtling along at 140 mph with more on tap. One can only imagine our elected leaders, right now, drafting legislation aimed at limiting power and speed of these new vehicles. Imagine the embarrassment of Joe Tesla only being able to go the speed limit! Sacrilege.
I tried to do this one time before, but I was in a Jeep Liberty 😂 still on my bucket list, though
What would be better us to actually have a real person narrate. AI voices suck. Blocking this channel.
This video is just dumb you just watching a whole video a road
It took them 6 minutes to catch up but they still caught him. That means the driver was at least 2 to 3 exits ahead of the cop. All they had to do was get off the freeway and hope not to be seen. Staying on the freeway let's them know where you are. You only get on the freeway in a chase if your close to another jurisdiction or to put distance between yourself and then get off again. Your best hope is if it is nigh time.
Honestly, in most states they wouldn't have given chase knowing it is a hellcat, with all the recent hellcat chases just because they know speeds will exceed what they're worth putting the public in danger for. Most cops will only give chase because they want a felony stop. It's really not about pubic safety.
What a waste of time. Try some editing!
Police car drives really fast and passes people……there, fixed the title for you.
What a waste of my time…
