On December 4, 2022, Brookhaven Police responded to 911 calls about a hit and run accident in Atlanta, Georgia. The officers saw the suspect’s vehicle, a silver Nissan Frontier, leaving the scene of the accident, but were able to pull him over.
Officers asked the driver to step out of the car for further investigation. When officer asked him about the incident, the driver denied any involvement and said that he was set up by a married couple.
Upon further questioning by police officers, the suspect changed his story
An officer received a phone call from the officer at the accident scene. They compared both stories and upon further investigation it became clear that the suspect was lying.
The supervisor sent an officer to the scene of the accident to speak with the victims before they arrested the suspect.
He was charged with aggravated assault, hit and run, criminal damage to property, and reckless driving.
