#CrimeCamNow
In a chaotic turn of events, Chamblee police officers were called to a Chevron gas station in Chamblee, Ga on September 1, 2022, to address a disorderly male causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, the suspect was seen leaving the store, catching the attention of the officers who promptly stopped him for further investigation.
The suspect vehemently protested his innocence, shouting and insisting that he hadn’t done anything wrong. However, the Chevron store manager stepped forward, recounting an aggressive encounter with the suspect, claiming that he had been pushed during the altercation. To defuse the escalating situation, the officer made the decision to place the suspect in handcuffs for everyone’s safety.
Even with the restraints, the suspect continued to shout, raising his voice even louder, attempting to convince those around him that he was falsely accused. The officers, committed to maintaining order, promptly placed him in the back of their police SUV.
Meanwhile, the officer took the opportunity to speak with the Chevron manager, who expressed a strong desire for the suspect to be banned from the premises, ensuring the safety and peace of mind of the store’s staff and customers.
As the officer settled into the vehicle to complete the necessary paperwork for the investigation, the suspect’s behavior took a disturbing turn. He began hurling offensive and profane language at the officer, resorting to name-calling and disrespectful remarks.
In light of the suspect’s disorderly conduct and the manager’s report of aggression, the officer made the decision to charge the suspect with disorderly conduct. Subsequently, the suspect was transported to the Dekalb County jail
