Seems like no one here likes state's rights. State Constitutions grant governors vast powers if an emergency is declared, each state is different generally. Presidents and Governors can suspend civil rights if Martial Law is declared I'd guess something similar is legal if an emergency is declared. I think this is Colorado so that state's Constitution would have to be read through.
The next hearing should include a mental evaluation for the crazy governor

I read the comments section concerning an interview with this governor on CNN and people said, "at least she's doing something." Smdh, I don't understand why people are dumb enough to think that taking guns away from law abiding people will reduce gun violence. Especially after the governor said that the order won't discourage criminals from breaking the law.

How would anyone who doesn't know what's going on understand this video? Granting a restraining order on the governor? What does that even mean? The governor can't come within 100 yards of you? I know you assume that everyone knows about the gun ban, but this video, with no context, is completely confusing. You should have at least explained what the restraining order was restraining.
This looks like a test run to see exactly how a ban would be tolerated by the people. The A.G. and Sheriff were the staged parties opposition to run interference if things went south, which they did. This seems to be a classic dem strategy to test the water just as they did with the lockdowns & face coverings. This isn't over , the order was issued and is still issued, just restrained temporarily.
Good news, buuuut..it's nauseating how tax dollars get squandered away on bullshit while anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows this is unconstitutional on its face. Our "legal" system is a farce, a joke and an outright scam.
