1. Hindutva is not Fascist. Fascism is a system with high level of concentration of power under a dictator. RSS and BJP are the most democratic organizations in India, most others being run by famiilies.
2. RSS is not inspired by Nazis. They are inspired by Italian Nationalists such as Mazzini who unified Italy. There is a book called "Mazzini Charitra". RSS was a response to the Muslim violence and consolidation during Khilafat movement, which saw massacres of Hindus in some parts of India.
3. Left in India is elitist, Islamist and hates any mention of Hinduism. It actively appeases Muslim conservatives. Hindus see this as dangerous, especially after what happened in 1947, where Muslim League was similarly appeased by British and Gandhi leading to Direct Action Day where Hindus were massacred in Bengal, then Punjab.
4. Gandhi was dumb about Muslims. He said "Hindus should not harbor anger against Muslims, even if the latter wanted to destroy them. Even if the Muslims wanted to kill us, we should face death bravely". He had similar views about Jewish.
