To the interviewer. You really should have been more specific here. By "green new deal", you were meaning the actual Green party's Green New Deal, and you should have been explicit on this. Steyer responded by referring to AOC's watered down vague aspirational nonsense that stole the name.
Simply asking what about Biden's plan he preferred to Howie Hawkins plan would have caused him to expose himself as the schill for climate change denialism he is.
