My friend's please accept holy greetings in the name of our LORD and saviour JESUS CHRIST , let us pray for the people of Venezuela including the military that they will not support any form of rebellion in their country if that should happen that will gives the international security body to send in outside forces to quell any uprising that may happen and may be it will sparked a confrontation between countries that supports Mr maduro and I predicted that if such thing happened Venezuela will be the next Libya , Afghanistan and many more countries that are presently in turmoil .GOD help them .   12. It makes no sense to make believe Guaido has ZERO support. He has some support from the few well off Venezuelans who would do better for instance perhaps landlords or oil contractors. So why not get INSIDE the Guaido mechanism and report from their point of view? You have what looks like hack kids, various co-opted National Guard, and fellow travelers. The way to disassemble this mess is to expose the tepid support rather than present it as a mystery.

  15. Who's fault it is if Venezuela is a bankrupt country? The country collapsed and Maduro was their president, not Maduro. The president should be held accountable if people are eating from trash can, trying to leave the country or dying because of no health care, not Maduro. You don't have to like Maduro, but Venezuela is a dead country because Maduro fail as president… a major economic collapse and the guy on top should be responsible. That doesn't mean that I want US intervention or Guaido as president, but that love fest for Maduro is very weird here considering Venezuela absolutely collapse few years ago and he was the president who let that happen.

  38. If Maduro was a dictator the Army would be out shooting the opposition leaders, etc. This is a group of thugs trying to cause chaos. The local police in control but not responding aggressively. It's a non event!

  47. I have seen rent-a-cops before, but those are the first rent-a-soldiers I have seen. But I doubt that generals wear helmets and tote small arms, like the guys in the photo shoot. "Staged event" sounds pretty accurate to me. It will probably flop as badly as Guaido's glorious supply caravan, which in the end he set afire trying to blame Maduro.
    Also, I suspect it would be unwise for American troops starting to shoot at the Chinese and Russian troops who are already there. I hope President Trump keeps his promise to keep the USA OUT of foreign wars.

  48. Maduro needs to go. But he must not transfer power to that capitalist puppet. All political and economic power is to be taken out of the hands of the capitalist class and the bureaucratic state apparatus. Only a genuine socialist transformation can prevent this nation from falling into a civil war. Working class people are suffering long enough. Nicolas Maduro's government is partly responsible and it deserves no support. But at the same time the opposition wants to destroy the last remnants of social security that were build in the Chavez era. Therefore no support must be given to anybody who sides with Juan Guaidó!
