Many of these “families” were separated so DNA tests could be run to ensure that the child was, indeed, related to the adults who were bringing them into our country. MANY children were found to NOT be related to the adults claiming to be their parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, etc. This led Trump’s justice department to suspect those children of being victims of child trafficking and they were put into the foster care system for their own protection. Thank goodness President Biden put an immediate stop to the DNA program when he took office. That is why children are no longer being separated from their “family” members. Not only that, these children can be reunited with the “families” they originally arrived with. These children who are now lined up to be released back to these adults may very well end up being sold to the highest bidder. Thank you Joe Biden for keeping these families together. Also, thank you to the media for portraying this story as a good and just thing. After all this time, these children are FINALLY going to be reunited with their families!! Last but not least, thank you America for consuming this story and shedding a tear of joy for these poor children. Being in foster care may have been the only safe place these children have ever been. Wake up!
Child trafficking was the cause for separating children. It was a sad situation, but it was necessary. Thousand were saved, Now the children that weren’t trafficked should be returned immediately.
