  11. Love meidastouch, learned alot about law and politics and the importance of fair judicial system. It takes time, painful and sometimes late but in the end it delivers Justice.

    Double check your work, Popok. It was reported that one Fulton Co. grand jury member voted against recommending every charge against Trump.

  33. Isn't the idea that Trump's trials must be concluded by election day a canard? If so, is January 20 (2025) the deadline? Would a judge consider delaying a trial if its length is expected to extend beyond election day? (Definitely new legal territory.)

  35. Thank God there are criminal court judges like Judge Juan Merchan. While they can't make up for judges like Aileen Cannon, they can reassure the country that the justice system does work in some places.

  41. Ya'll are so nerdy lol it is great! I learn so much from Meiselas and Popok, my Criminal Justice class has been a breeze this semester.

  42. M Cohen pleaded guilty to one count of making false statements to a congressional committee. All of Cohen's other convictions had something to do with fraud and lying. This comment is in response to Popok's statement that Cohen has never been convicted of perjury. I think that Popok's comment is the sort of comment that causes some people to think lawyers are always taking fraudulent positions in defense of individuals. I'm always a fan however, and never a Trump supporter.
