I was at my Doctor's surgery recently. I have been vaccinated fully re Covid. I asked my Doctor if people are still being infected by covid (thinking the answer would me no).
My Doctor assured me that people in our city are still getting Covid and that the virus keeps evolving which is why people need to get vaccinated. And some had had to be hospitalised due to the severity of their symptoms.
Yet a school friend of mine who lives in Texas still claims that Covid is just a hoax. For her sake I do hope she does not get infected as she has not had any covid vaccinations either.
