IDEA: After Military service, all Military service people are paid for 2 years of domestic service such as Americore. They organize and run local, regional, State, and Federal projects for young people and others who want to 'give' to our country. Imagine these projects cleaning up every waterway, removing waste everywhere. They could tear down derelict factories/parking lots and plant and maintain urban gardens. They could install micro-wind/solar and water collection on roofs. They could lead A Great Renewal!

As a Veteran, 35 year Honorably Retired Police Officer, who comes from a family of Cops, I could not understand why Cops, including my own brothers still defend Donald Trump. Especially, since he calls the imprisoned insurrectionist, "hostages". I had always assumed that the Republican Party was the party that supported law enforcement officers. Dear Ken, my father passed over 40 years ago, he served for 21 years, so did his brothers. I don’t and CANNOT UNDERSTAND how VETERANS stand behind trump, I wish someone could explain it to me. From the moment he made the comment to John McCain, how can the military and veterans leave their brothers and sisters standing on the line and go with a trader like trump? The only thing that makes any sense to me is the military who back trump is they were the ones taught to hate early in life or they are just people who like to pick up guns fight and kill people.
