Two Republican lawmakers were the target of swatting calls on Christmas Day, according to posts on X, formerly known as Twitter.Rep. Thanks to the Deputies and Troopers who contacted me before arriving. They left with homemade cookies and spiced nuts! Swatting is when someone makes a false report of a crime in progress to draw police to a certain location.Shortly after his post, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., announced she was also the victim of swatting incident Monday.”I was just swatted. This is like the 8th time.
