Even if they've had all their bits rearranged trans men are not men and trans women are not women. Offering puberty blocking medication to kids is just child abuse pure and simple. Keep it real. The FBI reported that there were 5.3 murders per 100,000. Estimates are that there are 1.4 million transgender Americans. That suggests that there would be at least 70 transgender people murdered each year. When you state 22 transgender people murdered, it appears that not only is being transgender safer, its probably healthier, where is the problem or do non-transgender people's lives matter less?

The real cause of trans suicides is surely the disconnect felt between what they know to be true and the lie that is sold to them; that they can literally change sex. The rhetoric around trans issues has become so dogmatic and fundamental that the debate about changes to the law has been reduced to a farce. We should be accepting of all 'gender' expression, of course, but we should not base any law or support on a lie. You cannot change sex, we should respect this fact when making policy to accommodate those with gender dysphoria. Lying to them only creates an internal conflict that cannot be resolved. You can't cheat your instincts.

There aren't really that many genuinely diagnosed transgender people to begin with. That's why you're not seeing the "support" that you'd like. Gender dysphoria is very rare.
