Success of N. Korea Meeting Depends on Whether Trump ‘Likes’ Kim Jong-Un

No matter the outcome, whether the talks fail or succeed, both sides will be able to present themselves as winners in this meeting, as either having been tough or for having held a successful historic summit, says James Dorsey, co-author of Comparative Political Transitions between Southeast Asia and the Middle East and North Africa

  1. You people are out of touch if you characterize what happened at the G7 as a failure for Trump and America. Working people very well know that those trade deals so skewed out of our interest has killed the US economically. Trump demanding that these deals will not continue as it has become customary….is a huge win and Americans are cheering. Only someone completely blind to what main street America thinks could see Trump's G7 performance as a poor showing. Yeah…poor showing for who? Multinational corporations that have been sucking the marrow from our bones.

  2. The DPRK gets to become a full "member of the international community"? What a load of shit. Whose special club is that? Who accepts the applications and makes decisions on who to admit? Who writes the bi-laws? How about the USA just joins the human race?

  3. He didn't say that! It's so tiring to here liberals (and I'm more liberal leaning than moderate) always have to bash the president. He said much like you can tell if you like someone in the first five minutes he'll be able to tell if they can get something done, if Kim is sincere. The title of this video is sickening. It's so cliche and unimaginative, just like the typical mainstream news. Rigid in thought and tribal.
