i dont think mr. brooks was drunk. at first he was asleep and had trouble remembering what street he was on. but the sobriety test looked normal to me. i would have done worse than him on any sober day. they really did not need to arrest him. he could have slept in his car in the parking spot. i am really mad at the people who saw him and called the cops. if i was a customer or employee, i would have urged him to pull into parking space before somebody calls cops. i wont call them for shit.

That freedom, for non-white Americans, is a constant struggle is disgusting. It makes me curse when I contemplate, that in 2020, at least two of you on this program could be shot dead by police for no reason at all. It brings tears to my eyes to see this. I'm an old guy, I live in Canada, and I have a "mixed marriage". Just saying that makes me sick – we never think of it.
I have seen racism in the US for nearly all my life. From time to time it gets worse but I haven't seen this level of open racism since the 1960s when I was a little kid. Goddamnit, black IS beautiful, black lives matter! Why can't it end? There is something so wrong with American whites, American cops, and American society in general. I sincerely hope major reforms come soon. My family and I are watching, and sending our love and solidarity. Thanks for this discussion.
