Bit tardy, it now being roughly 9:30 pm on May 7th, but it's an okay podcast, and Kim has a good point about MYOB, except when necessary to do otherwise, so as to provide security for someone in need, as she says. It takes good judgment.

Thug bucked up and mouthed off to and took an aggressive stance against the Cop and then got neutralized. 2nd case of shooting looked to be a citizens arrest gone wrong, most likely a mistaken identity. But shooters do need to be held accountable to some degree.
This one was a great disappointment. It is so easy to avoid amazone though. Convenience is the lamest of excuse for actually not doing what is necessary. And suggesting to take over it is also stupid since there is not only the issue of exploitation of labour, but also of destruction of local shop and the environment.
One of the main reason why capitalism that many lefties will continue unabated for a while longer is because it does provide "conveniences" that people of the middle and higher classes are unwilling to relinquish. If you want to dismantle the system, start by draining the vital capital out of it first, while building alternatives that do involve more human effort but which reduce human impacts on others and Nature.
That recording of the 911 call is scary. You can hear the righteousness and fear in the white assailant's voice. He has no idea he's a homicidal maniac. He thinks he's in the right.
