  1. At his core, tRump is a coward. Like most bullies, they can’t actually handle confrontation.

  2. Oh I see what he's doing. He'll never show up for any debate.

What you're seeing, folks, is the Ferdinand Marcos Jr. playbook to taking back power. It goes:

1.) Avoid all debates – it prevents you from being publicly attacked and made to answer for your crimes.

2.) It gets the media and the candidates talking about why you're absent thereby giving you free press and publicity.

3.) You're far ahead of the pack anyway. Showing up for debates makes you appear as if you are lowering yourself. Also, debating is pointless when you are already a known quantity and everyone knows what you're about.

4.) You get to play victim to your crowd.

Mark my words, this will extend into the general. Mark my words as well that Trump will extend an invite to the Dem front-runner (likely Biden) to debate him but in his own turf – one friendly to him and one where he knows Biden will likely refuse out of fear showing up would legitimize insane conspiratorial thinking. Legacy media will turn their noses up as well for being refused in favor of some unknown outsider media outfit and will run defense for the Dem candidate.

Meanwhile Trump and his insane cultists now have the ammo and defense when accused of refusing to participate in debates. They'll accuse the other side of being the ones who refused and they'll make sure every moderate and every centrist and everyone who splits the difference hears about it because they're the voters that will swing the election one way or the other.

BTW, every single detail and chess move I've outlined is critical and important. If you're thinking this all seems convoluted, simply consider that this strategy has already worked elsewhere to elect the son of a former Banana Republic dictator – one who has refused to apologize or even acknowledge his father's sins.

Consider also that Maria Ressa has already warned us that the Cambridge Analytica Report specifically state that the Philippines is being used by global far right strategists as a proving ground for their ideas before being refined and imported elsewhere – such as the US.

If Dems are not careful, fall for every juicy trap and don't have an effective counter-strategy, Trump can and will get reelected and things will be worse than his first term.

  3. They should just debate against each other…no one cares what they think. Trump doesnt need a debate to get votes
